Margrette Cardone Mondillo manages all aspects of The Goodwin Group's operations including: overseeing client accounts, developing public relations strategies and supervising new business development. She joined firm in 2001 as Vice President.
Prior to that, she spent seven years at the E! Networks in Los Angeles. As a
Supervising Producer of E! news specials, she was responsible overseeing a
staff of writers, producers and assignment editors, and approving scripts,
news segments and shoot locations. She also directed and produced the "anchor
wraps" for all related news specials.
As the full-time Line Producer of "E! News Daily," she was in charge of all
areas of production for the daily show, including: composing news rundowns,
assigning stories, approving scripts, handling breaking news, and
line-producing "E! News Daily," a live, Emmy-nominated national cable
entertainment news program.
Margrette has also field-produced many high-profile entertainment events,
including Oscar parties, international film festivals, on-location film
shoots, and behind-the-scenes features. She's interviewed dozens of
celebrities and newsmakers during her 13 year career in the news business.
Before beginning her career at E!, Margrette served as a news writer for
several popular Los Angeles television stations including: KCBS, KCAL, and
KTTV. She also worked as an associate producer for "The Crusaders" a
nationally-syndicated news magazine show.
Earlier in her career, Margrette worked at WBZ-TV in Boston where she held a
variety of positions including: Arts & Entertainment Production Coordinator,
Video-Tape Producer/Satellite Coordinator, and TV News Writer. She also
wrote nightly news cut-ins for WBZ-Radio.
Her broad range of experience in television news and entertainment
programming make her a valuable addition to The Goodwin Group.
She is a 1989 graduate of Boston University and holds a Bachelor of Science
degree in broadcast journalism.
Margrette resides in Canton, MA, with her husband Dave, daughter Grace, and
son Michael.
